At Busan Station, decide only the first move first

Busan Station often becomes the base for KTX and city transfers. It is tempting to add sightseeing immediately after arrival, but the smoother order is luggage, hotel, then one meal or nearby stop.

There is a tourist information center around the station. Use it first when you need a map or same-day confirmation. For family trips, decide whether you are taking the metro, using a taxi, or dropping bags at the hotel before anything else.

Nampo-dong, Jagalchi, and Yeongdo are relatively easy directions from here, while Haeundae and Gijang push the day into longer transfers. On arrival day, choose one direction.
