Edited from verified facts. This is not a visitor review.

Local information

Address

219, Gwanganhaebyeon-ro, Suyeong-gu, Busan

How to get there

Within walking distance of Exit 5, Gwangan Station on Busan Metro Line 2. Check weather and event controls before walking the waterfront.

Gwangalli Beach faces Gwangan Bridge in the middle of the city. Official guidance says it is open all day. The swimming season and event closures change through the year. In late summer, treat a swim and an evening walk as two different plans.

The sand and the promenade stay usable after dark. Many people come from late afternoon for the bridge lights and the restaurants along the water. A typical visit is about ninety minutes.

A step-free entrance is not guaranteed. There are drops down to the sand, so leave margin in the walking plan. With parents, choose a place to sit before you start along the water.

This article does not name swimming dates or lifeguard hours. Check the official seasonal notice before you travel, or give the concierge your dates.
