Winter lights at Gwanganli Bridge

Local information

Address

1 Jung-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan

How to get there

About 10-minute walk from Exit 7 of Gwangan Station (Metro Line 2).

The Gwanganli Bridge (Diamond Bridge), spanning 7.42km connecting Haeundae and Nam districts, hosts an annual \"Gwanganli Winter Lights Festival\" from December to February. During the festival, the entire bridge is illuminated with approximately 200,000 LED lights.

Lights are on from 5 PM to midnight, with weekends from 7-9 PM being the most crowded. Viewing from Haeundae Beach side offers a stunning light curtain created by the bridge and its reflection on the water.

During the festival, food stalls line the vicinity of Gwanganli Beach offering hot tea and winter snacks. However, lighting may be cancelled for safety during strong winds, so please check weather and lighting status before visiting.

This article does not fix operating hours or fees. Illumination lighting hours and festival dates change annually, so please check the official website for the latest information before visiting. To avoid crowds, we recommend visiting on weekdays before 6 PM or after 11 AM.
